It’s a perfect spot for anglers looking for a challenge while beholding the majestic Rock in the company of a furry little rascal! Welcome to Fishing Clash’s latest fishing spot: Gibraltar!

Gibraltar isn’t simply where fish-filled waters converge; it also brings together the cultures that influence this land and help it flourish. Located at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula and bordered by Spain, Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory which lies between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Its unique geographical placement makes it an excellent spot for fishing both from a boat and the shore!

As each fishery introduced to Fishing Clash attempts to capture the beauty and essence of the location our anglers visit, this time around, we’ve decided to hop on a boat and take on some deep-sea fishing in Gibraltar. This in-game perspective allows anyone casting their rods into the waters of this majestic place to witness its famous landmark: the Rock of Gibraltar. The various fish species our anglers will catch from their boats include the Goldblotch Grouper, the Atlantic Horse Mackerel, the Comber, the Swallowtail Seaperch, and the Red Porgy. The last two species listed here are just stunningly pretty – a real treat for anglers admiring fish for their natural aesthetics!

To further elevate the location’s atmosphere, our designers have included a visit from a cute and curious monkey in the Gibraltar fishing experience. This adorable critter is also something Gibraltar is known for, since it represents the only wild monkey population on the European continent! Meet the macaque that will accompany you from time to time when fishing! The macaques in Gibraltar (called Barbary macaques) are clever, curious, and often quite the audacious beasts. They’re famous for stealing snacks from the backpacks of oblivious tourists, as they’re so used to human interaction! Some visitors even manage to take pictures with one (or several) of them on their backs! Imagine such a vacation memory. Oh, by the way, there’s no need to worry – this monkey could never snatch your catch! It’s here to satisfy its curiosity and cheer you on when reeling in your haul!

After arriving at our Gibraltar fishery, Fishing Clash anglers will be able to enjoy and compete in various Events, and grab amazing rewards in the process! As always, our team has done its best to provide an engaging experience that not only involves this new fishing spot as a whole, but also makes use of existing in-game features. Our goal is to make these Events as fun, engaging, and memorable as possible, in the hope that fishing in Gibraltar becomes an unforgettable experience for everyone taking a breather with Fishing Clash!
