In Fishing Clash, we’ve always believed the water is more than just a place to fish – it’s a world to discover, respect, and protect.

That’s why, this June, we’re yet again joining forces with game studios around the globe for Green Game Jam 2025 – an initiative proving that games can drive real-world change. It’s a movement that invites players not just to play, but to act. To reflect. To care.

And as Anglers? We know the rhythms of nature better than most. We see what happens when balance is lost. We feel what’s missing when the water grows still.

🌊 Ghost nets of the Baltic

This year, courtesy of the Playing for the Planet organization, we’ve introduced yet another in-game event connected to environmental awareness. In one of Europe’s most vulnerable marine regions – the Baltic Sea – ghost nets lurk beneath the surface: abandoned fishing gear that continues to trap marine life and release microplastics long after being discarded.

In this special event, Anglers were fishing in our new Baltic fishery, faced various challenges, and uncovered the story of these invisible threats. All through the lens of our Fishing Quest game mode.

Every ghost net collected in-game brought a visible transformation to the sea. As Fishing Clash Anglers removed litter and debris, the waters cleared, marine life returned, and the world begun to breathe again.

🌱 The Green Pack returns

All of this isn’t just about gameplay. During the event, Anglers could purchase the Green Pack – a special in-game bundle developed with our partners at PlanetPlay.

Half of all earnings from these packs go to WithOneSeed, an environmental project planting trees, restoring habitats, and supporting clean energy in Timor-Leste.

So, we’d like to thank everyone who bought such Green Pack, by doing so, you’ve supported changes far beyond the screen!
